Sean Tabb – a 1999 graduate of the University of Hartford, enters his second season as the men’s basketball coach after leading the Bantams to the NESCAC Championship Tournament in his first season at the helm.  Tabb, who was an assistant coach at Trinity for nine years prior to the 2008-09 season, earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Hartford and his master’s degree in sports leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.  At Hartford, Tabb starred in basketball for the Hawks and served as captain in his senior season.  Tabb, having attended Somers High School, is one of the few male players in Connecticut State history to have scored 2,000 points in his high school career.  The brother of former Trinity All-American Colin Tabb ‘02, Sean Tabb resides in Somers, Conn.


Tom Satran, Connecticut College class of 1994, enters his eighth season as head coach of the Connecticut College men’s basketball program. Satran, an assistant coach on Connecticut College’s 1999 NCAA Division III Final Four team, returned to his alma mater after successful stints as an assistant coach at Brown University and New York University.

Jim Moriarty is the head boys basketball coach at Stamford High School where he is also a social studies teacher. He has been the head coach for 32 years and has won over 400 games. He won a state championship in 1992 and in 2009, he became the first person in FCIAC history to win the FCIAC championship both as a player and a coach. During his career, Moriarty has produced over 60 college basketball players. Moriarty has won FCIAC basketball coach of the year three times, most recently in 2009 where he was named FCIAC coach of the year for all sports.Coach Mo – Trifecta Hoops Summer Camp Lecture_
